Ceramics – Try handbuilding

Explore the basics of ceramics in this hands-on workshop focused on traditional handbuilding techniques like pinching, coiling, and slab building. After a short demo, you’ll create your own unique pieces—cups, bowls, vases—at a shared table in a small group of 5–6 participants.

At the end of the session, you’ll choose a glaze, and your finished work will be fired and ready for pickup in about a month.

Ceramics – Handbuilding & Glazing

In this two-part course, you’ll shape your own clay pieces using handbuilding techniques like pinching, coiling, and slab building. After your work is bisque-fired, you’ll return to glaze and decorate it.

You’ll learn:
• Handbuilding techniques (pinching, coiling, slab)
• Glazing and color basics
• The full ceramic process from raw clay to finished piece

Included:
• All materials, glazes, and two firings
• Aprons and tools
• Coffee, tea, and light refreshments at both sessions

Stamp Carving – Create Your Own Personal Stamp

Welcome to a creative workshop where you will learn how to carve your own rubber stamp!

I will guide you through the entire process – from choosing materials and tools, to sketching your design and carving your first stamp. When your stamp is ready, you can try printing on gift tags, cards, envelopes or perhaps create a personal exlibris to label your books with. After the workshop, you will take home your own hand-carved stamp – and the knowledge to continue creating more.

No prior knowledge is required. Warning: Stamp carving is highly addictive!
